Skill and Tool Proficiencies

Not to many new skills are added, but tool proficiencies have been expanded.

Skills

A note: some skills coincide with tools or kits, the kits themselves will grant a bonus to the skill, but not required.
Computers (Int): This skill is used to access more secure sections of a computer, writing programs and software, or digging through metadata. Hackers tools will grant a +1 to Intelligence (computers) checks.
Artificers, Fighters, Rogues, and Wizards can choose this skill.
Mechanics (Dex): used to craft, repair, and disable devices, Mechanics skills work best with the Mechanics Tools (granting a +1 for a basic kit or +2 for tool chest). This skill is primarily used with the Dexterity Ability, but I encourage DMs to ask for Intelligence(Mechanics) checks for certain tasks, like designing a new device.
Artificers, fighters, rangers, and rogues may choose this skill.
Mysticism (Wis): Unlike Arcana, Religion, Nature, or Occultism, Mysticism is used by the Wisdom ability, because Mysticism isn’t about knowledge, it is about understanding. Mysticism is used to recall knowledge about psionics, Ki, and mystical powers.
Monks and Mystics may choose this skill.
Occult: Like Arcana, Intelligence (Occult) is used to recall knowledge on forbidden knowledges, blood magics, and eldritch beings.
Bards, Clerics, Monks, Sorcerers, Warlocks, and Wizards may choose this skill

Tool Proficiencies

Engineering Tools: Characters proficient in an Engineering Tools can use a kit to build and repair electrical and mechanical Devices. These are similar to Mechanics Tools.
Vehicles: As with other settings, Vehicle Proficiencies grant the user to drive, operate, or pilot various vehicles. The four types of vehicles are Land, Air, Sea, and Mecha.

Aither: Proficiency in Aither allows the user to control an Aither Crystal, and recall knowledge of Aithergy.

All backgrounds available in other source books can also be used here, and feel free to substitute certain background proficiencies to better fit your adventure or characters, like the Criminal can be proficient in Hackers Tools or Scholar may choose Occult. Additionally, you can create feats that will allow access to these skills if you so choose.
