Archetype
Flying in together, the armored knight and their draconic ally work together to bring down their foes. Dragon Knights don’t ride true dragons, instead they ride highly intelligent drakes, which work with their riders to solve many issues.
Dragon Knight Dedication Feat 4
Uncommon, Archetype, Dedication
Prerequisite You have been initiated by a Dragon Knight
Access You are from the Draken Isle/ You have signed the contract with the Dragon Knihgt Mercenary guild.
You have gained a Drake ally, through a special ritual, and trained with the Dragon Knights.
You gain innate arcane powers when you bond with your drake. If you don’t already cast spells from spell slots, you learn to cast spontaneous spells and gain the Cast a Spell activity. You gain a spell repertoire with one cantrip of your choice, from the arcane spell list of your choice. You choose this cantrip from the common spells on your chosen spell list or from other spells to which you have access on that list. This cantrip must require a spell attack roll. You’re trained in spell attack rolls and spell DCs for this tradition. Your key spellcasting ability for these spells is Charisma. If you already cast spells from spell slots, you learn one additional cantrip from that tradition. If you’re a prepared caster, you can prepare this spell in addition to your usual cantrips per day; if you’re a spontaneous caster, you add this cantrip to your spell repertoire.
Additionally, you gain a drake Animal Companion, which follows all the rules of a normal animal companion (found in the Pathfinder Core Rulebook) with using these stats for the Drake Companion
Drake
Your companion is a swift drake with limited intelligence, less vicious than most drakes but fiercely loyal to you. A drake has the dragon trait instead of the animal trait, but it otherwise functions normally as an animal companion.
